I was most impressed in the way you persevered even though the market had gone very quiet. You kept looking for clients and showing the flat repeatedly. I always believed in you. And you did not let me down. Well done
Our team in Barbican, City & Clerkenwell
The City of London might only be a small area within Greater London but, as the centre for trade and finance, it packs an enormous punch. The City is the historic nucleus of London and its boundaries have remained practically unchanged since the Middle Ages.
Also known as the Square Mile (it measures just over one square mile) the country’s financial service industry has always been based here and its glass towers and towering skyscrapers lay claim to being the world’s economic headquarters.
Tina Evans, Group Director of Frank Harris & Company and based at our City branch, says she loves the energy and the buzz of the City, from morning to night, with the surrounding architecture nothing short of awe-inspiring. These towers and skyscrapers form London’s now iconic skyline, and you can’t help but feel alive walking around, thinking of its great history and imagining all the crazy deals going on inside those towering offices.
Bars and restaurants are plentiful in this area, with the hardworking City workers making good use of these external offices. There are also plenty of museums to explore that celebrate the heritage of an area that was once the capital of Roman Britannia, so there’s no shortage of extremely cool things to discover and explore, including that mighty cultural institution, the Barbican Centre, just a short walk away.
