I was most impressed in the way you persevered even though the market had gone very quiet. You kept looking for clients and showing the flat repeatedly. I always believed in you. And you did not let me down. Well done
Our team in South Bank & Waterloo
Located in south east London in the Borough of Lambeth and snaking along the southern stretch of the River Thames, the South Bank really is the beating heart of London’s creative establishment and one of the prominent entertainment hubs of the city.
It is a truly wonderful collision of sound, colour and culture, where residential and commercial blend into one big celebration of everything that is wonderful about this city. Established cultural institutions rub shoulders along this stretch of the river, including such giants as the Southbank Centre, the British Film Institute, the National Theatre, the Hayward Gallery, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and the Tate Modern.
We’re also very proud to call the Long Live Southbank Campaigners our neighbours. Their tireless campaigning saved the Undercroft, the world famous skatepark situated underneath the Queen Elizabeth Hall, from being developed. It is a unique, free, creative space in the heart of London, where skateboarders, graffiti artists and photographers can express themselves creatively.
Ashley Whitbourn, Manager of our Frank Harris & Company South Bank and Waterloo office, says he fell in love with the vibrancy of this area when he first arrived and sees the effect it has on those who visit, with a lot of young professionals looking to this area as the perfect stress-free London location with access to the best of London life. It’s also perfect for government workers looking for a short commute times to and from Westminster. An early morning stroll along the river, taking in a waking London, is brilliant for recharging the batteries before the day starts.
