An area of rapid and dramatic revitalization
that began with the move in of the British Library to this area
in 1998.

Kings Cross Central aims to fashion a dense, vibrant urban
quarter in the 67-acre space above Kings Cross and St Pancras
Stations, whose international rail terminal will open in 2007.

| More cultural HQs will arrive in 2008 when the London
Sinfonietta will make its base at Kings Place (while continuing
its South Bank Series and residency), together with the Orchestra
of the Age of Enlightenment. A short walk takes you to all
the bars and cafes in Islington. |
